I am currently a PhD Candidate in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department at  UC San Diego. I work with Prof. Tajana Simunic Rosing, and am a member of the System Energy Efficiency Lab. I am broadly interested in operating systems and computer architecture with specific focus on design and implementation of power efficient systems. Prior to coming to “sunny” San Diego, I spent most of my life in New Delhi, the capital city of India. Despite its unforgiving climate, traffic jams and pollution, Delhi remains my favorite city for its amazing character, vigor and heritage. I did my schooling at Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, and spent four unforgettable years for my undergrad in Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (1998-2002). I had an incredible time at Roorkee, making some great friends and being part of some memorable escapades! After my undergrad, I worked for three years at STMicroelectronics, Noida on the Nomadik Multimedia Application Processor. I came to UC San Diego for my PhD beginning Fall 2005.
